Marriage, mental capacity and sharia: a clash of religious and cultural norms

At the request of the Official Solicitor, on 17 August BAILII removed from its website the transcript of the judgment in XCC v AA & Anor [2012] EWHC 2183 (COP) (26 July 2012).

The Official Solicitor is obviously concerned that even though it is anonymised it might still be possible to identify the family from the judgment. In the circumstances, we have removedĀ our post on the case. We shall repost it if and when the transcript reappears on BAILII.
