Votes for prisoners: update

The uncorrected transcript of the  Attorney General’s evidence to the House of Commons Justice Committee on 24 October was posted on the House of Commons website yesterday, 2 November.

For anyone who is interested in reading the exchanges between the Attorney and the Committee about votes for prisoners, HirstScoppola and the relationship between the UK and the ECtHR at greater length than I could manage in my earlier post, the questioning on that point starts at Question 24.
