COVID-19: Masks in Scotland from 9 August

On 3 August, the Scottish government announced that the legal requirement for physical distancing and limits on gatherings will be removed on 9 August when all venues across Scotland are able to re-open. However, some protective measures will stay in place, and these are detailed in The Health Protection (Coronavirus) (Requirements) (Scotland) Regulations 2021, SSI 2021/227, extracts of which, relevant to places of worship, are summarized below.
