The Crown Nominations Commission (CNC) for the Archbishop of Canterbury held its first meeting at Lambeth Palace in London this week.

The CNC will meet at least two more times over the coming months, with the expectation that the new Archbishop will be announced this autumn.

The members of the Canterbury CNC continue to ask Christians across the Church of England, and around the Anglican Communion, to pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in the process of discerning who God is calling to the See of Canterbury.
