On 7 November 2017, the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) published the following dates of its public hearings to March 2019.
Inquiry publishes public hearings timetable to March 2019
The Inquiry has published a timetable of preliminary and public hearings up until March 2019.
They include three weeks of public hearings into allegation of child sexual abuse in the Anglican church in March 2018, two weeks of public hearings into the sexual abuse of Children in Custodial Institutions, in July 2018 and three weeks of hearings into the extent of any institutional failures to protect children in the care of Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County Councils from sexual abuse and exploitation in October 2018.
Further hearings have been scheduled as follows:
w/c 12 November 2018 – Public hearing – Investigation into child sexual abuse in the Roman Catholic Church (Archdiocese of Birmingham case study)
w/c 26 November 2018 – w/c 10 December 2018 – Public hearing – Accountability & Reparations for victims and survivors of child sexual abuse
w/c 4 February 2019 – Public hearing – Investigation into child sexual abuse in the Roman Catholic Church – (Ealing Abbey case study)
w/c 11 February 2019 – Public hearing – Children Outside the UK
w/c 4 March 2019 – w/c 25 March – Public hearing – Westminster Investigation
