Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society – Charity Commission response

The Charity Commission for England and Wales has published a response to the ruling in Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society of Britain & Ors v The Charity Commission [2016] EWCA Civ 154, in which the Court of Appeal ruled that Watch Tower might apply for judicial review of the Commission’s Production Order for the disclosure of sensitive documents as part of its statutory inquiry but dismissed Watch Tower’s application for review of the Commission’s decision to open the inquiry in the first place.
